Saskaņā ar līguma No. SKV-L-2016/152 ar v/a „Latvijas Investīciju un attīstības aģentūra" par projekta "A/S “SAF Tehnika" dalība starptautiskās izstādēs" īstenošanu, „SAF Tehnika” paziņo, ka laikā no 2020.gada 30.jūnija līdz 16. septembrim ir veikusi produktu Integra-WS, Integra-X, Integra-E-80, Spectrum Compact sertifikāciju Tehnisko ekspertu sabiedrība ar ierobežotu atbildību "TUV Nord Baltik".
Sertifikācijas ietvaros tika veikta iekārtu testēšana saskaņā ar ETSI EN 301 489-1, EN 301 489-4, EN 60950-1, EN 300 019, ISO 9227, ISO 12944-2. A/S “SAF Tehnika”, kā mikroviļņu radio ražotājs vēlas, lai produkcija, kas tiek ražota uzņēmumā, būtu atbilstoša Eiropas Savienības prasībām. Decisions adopted at the annual shareholders meeting of JSC SAF Tehnika on 4 December, 2020
04.12.20.The following decisions were adopted at the annual shareholders meeting of JSC "SAF Tehnika":
1. Approve the reports of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Council for financial year 2019/2020.
2. Approve the consolidated and separate financial statements of “SAF Tehnika” JSC for financial year 2019/2020 and release the Group`s Board of Directors from responsibility for financial year 2019/2020.
3. (1) To pay in dividends the profit accrued until 31 December 2017 as 0.21 EUR (twenty- one cent) per one SAF Tehnika JSC share or total amount of 623 737,80 EUR (six hundred twenty-three thousand seven hundred thirty-seven euros and 80 cents);
- The date of record is 18 December, 2020.
- The date of payment is 21 December, 2020.
- Ex-date is 17 December, 2020.
(2) Keep the remaining amount of retained earnings 2 266 812 EUR (two million two hundred sixty-six thousand eight hundred twelve euros) as the retained earnings of SAF Tehnika JSC.
4. Appoint “Potapoviča un Andersone” Ltd. as the auditor of the “SAF Tehnika” JSC for the financial year 2020/2021 and determine the maximum remuneration for the auditor of the Annual Reports for the financial year 2020/2021 in the amount of EUR 11’000 (eleven thousand euro ), excluding taxes set in the legislation. Authorize the Board of the Group to sign the contract with the elected auditor.
5. Approve the remuneration policy of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Council.

Announcement on the work of SAF Tehnika JSC during the Covid-19 pandemic
30.11.20.This is an official statement on work of SAF Tehnika JSC during the Covid-19 pandemic.
SAF Tehnika JSC informs that one case of Covid-19 has been laboratory confirmed at the manufacturing plant of the company. All contact persons were immediately identified and informed and, in accordance with the rules of the local disease prevention centre, sent to home quarantine at least until 6 December.
To avoid further untraceable spread of the virus, SAF Tehnika JSC organises a collective testing for its employees.
SAF Tehnika JSC takes every effort to organise operational activities in a stable and reliable manner. The company continues its work by organising it to minimise physical proximity and ensures frequent cleaning, disinfection, and access to protective equipment. Employees that are not involved in manufacturing process are encouraged to work from home, as well as every employee is encouraged to reduce their social activities to a minimum.
The company has accumulated sufficient financial and material reserves and has customed supply chains to handle most orders in usual lead times. SAF Tehnika JSC is in continuous contact with its suppliers, service providers and authorities and closely monitors the development of the situation to ensure a timely response to possible changes in the current situation.
The Board of Directors does not currently forecast any significant time lag in the production cycle, but it is possible. The company will contact its customers whose order delivery times may be hit.

SAF Tehnika Consolidated Interim Report for Q1 of financial year 2020/21
11.11.20.In the first quarter of the financial year 2020/2021, the Group’s unaudited consolidated net turnover was 4.7 million euros, which is 18% more than in the first quarter of the FY 2019/2020. The Group ended the first quarter of the financial year 2019/2020 with a profit of EUR 378 thousand (unaudited).
The turnover in North and Latin Americas was 70% or EUR 3.28 million. Compared to the turnover in the same quarter of the previous financial year, the turnover increased less than twice as a result of successful sales transactions at the end of the previous quarter.
The turnover in Europe and CIS countries amounts to 19% or EUR 882 thousand, which is 50% less than in the first quarter of the previous financial year. The turnover of the AMEA (Asia, Middle East, Africa) region decreased by 4% compared to the corresponding quarter of the last financial year, and makes up 12% or EUR 544 thousand.
The Group’s costs did not exceed the planned levels, and The Group continues to invest in the development of new products and product modifications.
The Group ended the first quarter of the financial year 2020/2021 with a profit of EUR 378 thousand (unaudited). The result of the Q1 of the previous year was profit of EUR 258 thousand.
The Group’s net cash balance at the end of the period was 4.25 million euros.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, all offices and the manufacturing facility of SAF Tehnika were operating normally, the company manufactured and shipped its products worldwide. At the manufacturing facility, the work is organized in such a way as to minimize physical proximity, ensure frequent cleaning and the availability of disinfectants. The company accumulates enough materials, has adjusted supply chains and is able to fulfil most of the orders within normal lead times.
The Group continues to explore market demand and problematic issues in order to be able to provide necessary product modifications, as well as continues investments in product development. The goal of the Company is to stabilize sales levels to ensure a positive net result in the long term.

29.10.20.Audited statements and Corporate Governance report of „SAF Tehnika” for financial year 2019/2020
Net turnover of the “SAF Tehnika” Group in the 2019/2020 financial year was 16.76 million euros, which is by 2.32 million euros or by 16% higher than in the previous financial year 2018/2019. The net turnover of the Parent company in FY 2019/2020 was EUR 13.86 million, which is by EUR 1.99 million higher than in the previous FY 2018/2019. The Board of the Parent company proposes to pay dividends of EUR 473 185.
“SAF Tehnika” publishes its audited consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements for financial year 2019/ 2020 (from July 1, 2019- June 30, 2020) according to Section 56th, 5th paragraph of „Law on the Financial Instruments Market”
During the reporting year, the development and improvement of the microwave wireless data transmission product line continued. Solutions were found to improve functionality and quality indicators, and to reduce production costs. The Group continued to design and develop the Aranet functionality – the new Internet of Things (IoT) environmental monitoring solution, as well as kept on working on the Aranet Cloud service. Aranet is an industrial-grade wireless environmental monitoring solution that allows taking measurements of various environmental parameters over a wide area, including monitoring of temperature, humidity, and CO2.
Exports made 96.93% of the turnover and amounted to EUR 16.24 million. During the reporting year, the Group exported its products to 83 countries worldwide.
Fluctuations in turnover for all regions are affected by variable proportion of projects, replacement of equipment generations, and product audits, especially in the segments of standard equipment.
During the reporting year, the Group invested EUR 439 thousand into IT infrastructure, production and research equipment, purchase of software and licenses, as well as product certification.
The Group completed the financial year 2019/2020 with a profit of EUR 442 thousand.
The Parent company’s financial result for FY 2019/2020 was a profit of EUR 473 thousand EUR. This successful result of economic activity was provided by an increase in the share of variable specialized projects with high added value in the overall project portfolio.
The Board of the Parent company proposes to pay dividends of EUR 473 185.

To provide quality service for our customers SAF is partnering with Zabbix and we are encouraging our customers to migrate to the Zabbix open-source monitoring solution. We have already integrated all our data transmission equipment into the Zabbix NMS.
SAF NMS v4.6.x will be the last SAF NMS release that is compatible and tested with the operating system up to MS Windows 10 Pro/MS Windows Server 2019 Standard. No further SAF NMS maintenance releases and technical support will be provided after June 30, 2021. After this date, the SAF NMS product becomes obsolete, therefore SAF NMS users have an alternative to:
- Migrate to the Zabbix monitoring tool.
- Continue using the SAF NMS product without any updates.

Announcement about SAF Tehnika business operations during the COVID-19 pandemic
16.03.20.This is an official statement on how we are doing in the COVID-19 pandemic and how we are planning to work and interact with our partners, suppliers and customers. As of March 16th all our facilities in (Riga, Latvia and Denver, Colorado) are functioning normally.
We don’t have any employee diagnosed with the Covid-19 yet. All employees returning from overseas business trips are placed on 14 days quarantine and we as a company are providing full support to them. All non-manufacturing employees are encouraged to work from home and reduce their social activities to minimum. In our facilities we are organizing work to minimize physical proximity and ensure frequent cleaning and making disinfectants available. We have enough financial reserves to survive deep and long crisis and we are not planning any layoffs and reductions in our capacities.
As of March 14th the government of Latvia has declared state of emergency, they are locking down borders and from March 17th all international passenger travel through ports and airports of Latvia is stopped for 1 month. Importing and exporting of goods will not be impacted. All public gatherings are banned, and citizens are encouraged to work from home. Considering relatively low number of infections we think that these measures will significantly slow down and eventually stop COVID-19 in Latvia.
Currently our operations are running normally, and we are manufacturing and shipping our products world-wide. We have accumulated enough materials and are able to fulfill most of orders within normal lead times. This applies to all SAF product families, Microwave Backhaul Links, Spectrum Compact and Aranet.
We are in constant contact with our suppliers, service providers and authorities and we are monitoring the evolving situation closely. If there will be changes in product availability or shipping rates, we will notify you immediately.
During this week we saw normal or even a little accelerated flow of orders. We are doing our best to organize our operations in most resilient and reliable way and be a trusted partner for you. If possible, please share with us information about planned orders – as always has been the case, accurate forecasting will greatly help us and improve product availability for you.
Lastly, we are encouraging our employees to work from home as much as possible and are directing our executives and sales representatives to avoid all business travel. Let’s use remote communication tools to work together.
We will notify our partners and customers immediately if there is any impact to normal product delivery schedules.

Pētniecības projekta īss apraksts:
Olu ražošana lielos apjomos saistīta ar virkni izaicinājumu, taču projekta ietvaros uzmanība tiks pievērsta divām praktiski nozīmīgākajām aktualitātēm:
1. Graudu tilpuma barības tornī bezvadu monitoringa sistēmas, kas realizēta ar ultraskaņas attāluma sensoriem, izstrāde un precizitātes novērtēšana.
Olu ražošanā ir svarīgi spēt precīzi novērtēt barības tornī iebērto graudu daudzumu. Krājumā esošie graudu apjomi ir lieli – tipiskais viena barības torņa tilpums ir apmēram 3000 m3. Graudi ir berama viela un tornī esošā tilpuma augšējā virsma nekad nav horizontāla un gluda. Ikdienā daļēji papildinot un tukšojot graudu krājumu, virsmas topogrāfija iegūst dažādas neregulāras formas, kas būtiski apgrūtina tilpuma novērtēšanu. Lai optimāli plānotu piegādes, novērstu iespējamo krāpniecību, atvieglotu krājumu uzskaiti un grāmatvedību, praksē ir nepieciešams fiksēt graudu atlikumu ar vismaz vienas autokravas precizitāti, t.i. apmēram 30 m3.
2. Vistu labturības rādītāju uzlabošana, izmantojot bezvadu gaisa kvalitātes monitoringa sistēmu, kas spējīga ilgstoši darboties paaugstinātā amonjaka koncentrācijā.
Olu ražošanas produktivitāte ir tieši atkarīga no diviem rādītājiem: vistu dējības un vistu mirstības. Abi šie faktori ir atkarīgi no visu kūtī esošā gaisa kvalitātes. Tā galvenie raksturlielumi ir temperatūra, relatīvais mitrums un amonjaka koncentrācija. Pēdējais faktors būtiski apgrūtina jebkuru citu parametru mērīšanu, jo amonjaks ir ķīmiski aktīvs. Vistu kūtīs pieļaujamās koncentrācijas (25 ppm) rada ļoti korozīvu vidi materiāliem, no kuriem izgatavoti elektroniski sensori. Tas kritiski samazina sensoru dzīves laiku, kuram, dējējvistu fizioloģiskās specifikas dēļ, ir jābūt vismaz 70 nedēļām ilgam.
Pētniecības projekta mēŗķi
1. Izveidot bezvadu monitoringa sistēmu graudu tilpumam barības tornī, kas realizēta ar ultraskaņas attāluma sensoriem un novērtēt tās precizitāti.
2. Izstrādāt bezvadu gaisa kvalitātes monitoringa sistēmu, kas var darboties paaugstinātā amonjaka koncentrācijā, un, izmantojot iegūtos datus, uzlabot vistu labturības rādītājus.
Pētniecības projekta rezultāts:
Pabeigta graudu tilpuma barības tornī bezvadu monitoringa sistēmas izstrāde un pabeigta bezvadu gaisa kvalitātes monitoringa sistēmas izstrāde vistu kūtīm.

26.02.20.According to the agreement No. SKV-L-2016/152 concluded between „SAF Tehnika” JSC and government institution „The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia” of a project „Participation of „SAF Tehnika” JSC in international exhibitions”,on February 18-20 company exhibited at "HortiContact 2020" in Gorinchem , Netherland.
During the exhibition SAF Tehnika presented Aranet product series. Visitors of stand were mainly from different regions of Netherland and other countries.

19.02.20.According to the agreement No. SKV-L-2016/152 concluded between „SAF Tehnika” JSC and government institution „The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia” of a project „Participation of „SAF Tehnika” JSC in international exhibitions”, on January 28-30, 2020 the company exhibited at “Distrubutech 2020” which took place in San Antonio, USA.
During the exhibition „Distributech 2020" there were presented Integra, PhoeniX G2 and Spectrum Compact product series. Visitors of „SAF Tehnika” stand were mainly from different regions of USA and the main interest was about our Integra product serie.

03.02.20.According to the agreement No. SKV-L-2016/152 concluded between „SAF Tehnika” JSC and government institution „The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia” of a project „Participation of „SAF Tehnika” JSC in international exhibitions”, on November and December 2019 company received FCC and IC certification for products from PhoeniX G2 and Aranet product lines. This certification allows SAF Tehnika to sell those products to customers based in USA and Canada, it also serves as proof of product’s high quality.
